Inspiration Station

We here at All Aboard with Ms. Kelly are committed to helping children and their families in every single way we can. Alongside each episode of the show, we release printable coloring pages, ideas for art projects or activities, songs to sing or play, and discussion questions you can ask a child to elaborate on, all on the theme of the episode. The discussion questions can be found in the description of the episode on YouTube.

We also keep a running, searchable spreadsheet with further reading for grown ups needing a little extra help (or somebody wanting to check us on our sources), which included approved books, articles, videos, or social accounts that we used in our research for each episode.

Coloring Pages

Coloring pages aren’t simply a fun activity for children, they’re also good for their psychological, cognitive, and emotional development! They can improve motor skills and coordination, develop focus and patience, relieve stress, and stimulating creativity and self-expression.

Activities/Art Projects

It’s more than just a mess!

According to Dr. Pierrette Mimi Poinsett, MD, art helps kids gain a range of skills, including creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and emotional expression. Art also enhances their ability to focus, observe, and appreciate different perspectives.

Songs

We have many original songs written for the show by our incredible “Music Teacher”. We encourage families to sing or play these songs at home when they think of them. “Music is a great coping tool for children," says Karen Norris, music therapist at Children's Health in Dallas. "It can help during a time of transition, reduce stress, and create a bonding experience."
