Whatever happened to real people hosting children’s television? We all remember Mr. Rogers, Steve Irwin, Bill Nye, role models of our generation. Well, for today’s kids, the moment they age out of Ms. Rachel, there just aren’t role models like that for them to turn to. Instead of a host parents can rely on to teach their children a thing or two (or even just babysit for a minute while they make pasta), parents are stuck with an abundance of cheap, animated shows, made with minimal research and aiming for maximum screen time.
All Aboard with Ms. Kelly is different.
A slow-paced, low-stimulation learning show led by a former preschool teacher, All Aboard! provides weekly lessons about deep and meaningful social-emotional topics. Part Mr. Rogers, part Ms. Frizzle and her Magic School Bus, Ms. Kelly lovingly welcomes every child into her television classroom, singing, exploring, and playing her way across Texas.

In an era where children’s education and literacy is facing an uphill battle, and more and more families are getting priced out of their local preschools, we intend to put an on-demand, certified preschool educator in every living room. Ms. Kelly grew up around the corner from you! As a child, her parents made sure splashing in the creek, going to dinosaur museums, and having firm friendships came before any academic pressure. This upbringing helped solidify Ms. Kelly’s firmest belief as a teacher: any child’s formal education is built on the strong foundation of a vibrant and supported life outside the classroom.

Ms. Kelly’s dedication to smart, approachable teaching is matched only by her wit... a wit that led her to a career writing jokes for late night television before becoming a teacher! This show is the combination of her two passions: writing for television and helping families and their children thrive.

All Aboard! is one of the most rigorously researched children’s programs in production. Its educational goals are to increase emotional literacy and the development of feelings-based language in preschool-aged children, help young children demonstrate age-appropriate social skills, and to foster an informed and respectful outlook on children’s environments as they learn to navigate them. Ms. Kelly is constantly working with her team of educators, child development specialists, and parents to tailor each episode’s lessons to the latest research and the most urgent problems facing families today.
